In mine opinion, love is fitter than fear, gentleness better than beating, to bring up a child rightly in learning.

E’ stato cresciuto da sua zia.
When parents (or other adults) bring up children, they look after them until they are adults.
Parents don’t *grow children* or *grow up children*!
Children grow (up).

✓ Tarzan was brought up by apes.
✗ Tarzan was *grown up* by apes.
