fall (fell, fallen) vs. feel (felt, felt)
When you fall, feel the pain. And then stand up. You were born for victory. And failure has no place in your world.
Quando cadi, senti il dolore. E poi alzati in piedi. Sei nato per la vittoria. E non c’è posto per l’insuccesso nel tuo mondo.
– Robin Sharma
✓ How do you feel now?
✗ How do you *fell* now?
Come ti senti ora?
The two verbs fall and feel are often confused. Fell, the past of fall, for example is similar to feel.
A couple of examples:
✓ I fell off my bike in front of everyone. I felt very silly.
Sono caduto dalla bici davanti a tutti. Mi sono sentito molto stupido.
✓ You feel a bit crazy the first time you fall in love.
Ti senti un po’ pazzo la prima volta che ti innamori.
